How much does it cost to visit PACIFIC 2017 as a trade visitor?
Entry to PACIFIC 2017 is free of charge to accredited trade visitors.


What is an accredited trade visitor?
PACIFIC 2017  is not open to the general public. Trade visitor entry will only be offered to personnel within the maritime, defence, naval and associated industries. For accreditation purposes, evidence of corporate or industry affiliation (such as applicable business card, association membership card etc) may be required. Official photographic identification (passport, drivers license, defence ID etc) will be required to be carried with you at all times.

Please note that no person under the age of 16 years will be admitted to PACIFIC 2017.


How do I register?
Online via our website here. Registration will also be available onsite during PACIFIC 2017 from the 3-5 October at Event Registration, Level 2, ICC Sydney.


How do I collect my trade visitor badge for PACIFIC 2017?
Once you have registered online, you will receive via email (to the email address you nominated in your trade visitor registration application), a trade visitor e-receipt. This email will have a link to a barcoded PDF document (e-receipt) that you will need to print off and bring with you to Event Registration, Level 2, ICC Sydney on the first day you attend PACIFIC 2017. Registration staff will scan the barcode and provide a trade visitor badge to you on confirmation of your accreditation and photo ID.


How long is my trade visitor badge valid for?
Trade visitor badges are valid for entry to the PACIFIC 2017  Exhibition from 0900 on Tuesday 3 October until 1800 on Thursday 5 October. Upon collection, your trade visitor badge will be valid for the entire period of the event from when it is issued. Trade Visitors can only enter the exhibition from 0900 on each day.


Can I access the conferences with my trade visitor badge?
Many of the conferences in the PACIFIC 2017  program are free to trade visitors and can be accessed when wearing a trade visitor badge.

However, some conferences require a separate email pre-registration (as well as a trade visitor badge for access), or an additional badge and/or payment of a registration fee.

What if I have already registered for one of the conferences held in conjunction with PACIFIC 2017? Do I still need a trade visitor badge?
Most conferences held in conjunction with the event utilise the PACIFIC 2017 trade visitor badge for access. Some of these conferences also require a separate email pre-registration to the conference convenor.

The specific conference badge for each of these conferences also allows you entry into the exhibition halls to view the PACIFIC 2017 exhibition. All of these conferences have breaks scheduled on the exhibition floor so as to maximise the opportunity to liaise with exhibitors and other trade visitors.


What is the dress code for PACIFIC 2017?
Appropriate business attire or applicable military uniform is required.


Will security measures be in place during PACIFIC 2017?
Yes. Visitors should be aware from Tuesday 3 October through to Thursday 5 October 2017 access control procedures will be in place. Visitors entering the exhibition venue will be subject to screening processes (similar to security checks undertaken at airports) and visitors should ensure that trade visitor badges are worn at all times when within the exhibition venue.


Are there any networking opportunities for trade visitors at PACIFIC 2017?
As part of PACIFIC 2017, trade visitors, conference delegates and exhibitors will have access to the PACIFIC 2017 App, designed to enhance networking opportunities and help gain the most out of the event experience.

The PACIFIC 2017 App contains up-to-date event information including floor plans, stand locations, exhibitor profiles, sponsor profiles and the PACIFIC 2017 trade directory as well as conference and associated function schedules with a personalised timetable function (which will be updated in your App in real time).

It will also offer Trade Visitors networking opportunities by allowing them to find and contact exhibiting companies and sponsors, discover the location of stands and displays, review conference timetables and personalise their event timetable as well as approach exhibitors for meetings (if the exhibitor has enabled that function).

To gain access to the PACIFIC 2017 App, you must be a registered to attend PACIFIC 2017. The App will be available as a free download for smartphone users via the iTunes and Google Play stores. Details on how to access and download the app will be emailed to you in the weeks leading up the show.
